The End of Me, is an experimental piece that explores the tension between vulnerability and strength in the human experience. The piece attempts to control the effects of luminous pigments used in previous works where the luminous effects were used as a means of abstracted expression. Context matters with its materials - by day, gold gleams and by night, hidden pigments glow when either lit by UV light or in the absence of light (natural or artificial). As a continuation of the practice, this work fuses classical authority with modern expressionism and illustration.
