Calliope is the Muse who presides over eloquence and epic poetry. I decided to depict her as a drawing to work on achieving technical virtuosity to improve on my skill and tecnhique. This is a study of the sculpture of the muse by sculptor Augustin Pajou currently located at The National Gallery of Art.
